IT
Support/Engineering Sales
You must be an
over-achiever who is self motivated and innovative, with a good general
understanding of hardware and software solutions. Your role will be to
develop new business and service existing clients. Your customers will
be SME’s who look to you for an affordable answer to their problem. You
must also be a very good communicator with an outgoing and friendly
manner.
The position is
office based but also requires meeting clients “face to face” at their
premises, so personal presentation is important as is a driving license.
You will be expected to generate new business from scratch, although
many leads are supplied. You will have an understanding of what SME’s
require of their IT/Computer infrastructure. Therefore you will have a
“sales” understanding of servers, workstations, printers, networking,
server and PC business software etc, technical knowledge is an advantage
but not critical. You will be part of a team that includes highly
experienced hardware and software engineers who are available to support
your sales. This position suits an individual who is able to work on
their own and as part of a team, with excellent communication (oral and
written) skills with a desire to succeed in an IT sales environment.
This position could develop into the Sales Manager role for the right
person.
Remuneration is
salary and commissioned and allows for significant earnings for an
achiever.
Computer/IT Parts
Sales
We
are seeking skilled sales people to join our experienced office
based team supporting existing clients and developing new business.
You will be self motivated with excellent spoken communication skills,
numerate, computer literate with the drive to succeed in a challenging
environment. European languages are an advantage.
One aspect of Kew Computers is that we are, what is known as, “Multi
Vendor Brokers”. This means that we supply all brands of equipment. We
supply this equipment, primarily, to Maintenance Company’s. This means
that one minute we are selling a spare part for a new model, the next
minute it’s a part for a 10 year old item…so it’s a varied and
challenging role.
The position is office based and involves the identification of
potential customers, working with existing and new clients, sourcing
their requirements and supplying these to them at a competitive price
and lead time. You will be responsible for your clients from beginning
to end, in other words you will be communicating with them every day,
developing the relationship, supplying them every day, so they will rely
on you to ensure that everything goes smoothly. You will join a highly
experienced team who will assist you along the way. This position will
suit an outgoing individual who is a “born salesperson” who pays
attention to detail and is not phased by deadlines or paperwork.
Remuneration is salary and commission and allows for significant
earnings for an achiever.
Junior Engineers
You will be
joining an established team of skilled hardware and software engineers.
You must be enthusiastic with a knowledge of computer/IT hardware. The
role involves the dismantling, diagnosis and repair of all types of
hardware.
Kew Computers
repair all makes and types of computer equipment. This role is suitable
for someone who is adept with a screwdriver! To clarify, you will be the
sort of person who takes things apart because you want to know how they
work/what’s inside them!! But you must also be able to put them back
together again (without having any spare bits left!). This position will
be overseen by an experienced engineer and may lead to a more senior
position for the right person. This position may involve some weekend
and possibly some shift work.
Remuneration is
£11,000.00pa with 20 days holiday pa.
Normal hours
9-5.30 with 1 hour for lunch.
